About Me

While attending the University of North Georgia, I discovered my drive for programming and IT. Throughout my studies, I gained hands-on experience with various cybersecurity and web development tools. Creating interactive websites for people has brought me immense joy, especially as I’ve delved into more complex UX environments. Simultaneously, my zeal for cybersecurity has grown working with the latest tools and gaining a strong foundational knowledge about the threats we face and how best to prevent them.

After earning my bachelors of science degree in computer science, I became a full-time web developer at Veugeler Creative. Here, I’ve had the pleasure of building websites for a diverse range of clients. This experience has allowed me to pursue both my passions: development and UX, as well as security. Creating outstanding websites that captivate users brings me immense satisfaction. Simultaneously, being at the forefront of website security has deepened my understanding of the threats we face daily and equipped me with tools to protect against them. Whether through using a Web Application Firewall (WAF) or conducting forensic analysis my drive to have the strongest knowledge and defense of the threat landscape continues to expand.

I am a fast learner and constantly evolving my skillset. Recently, I completed courses in SEO, which better positioned me to apply the latest trends and optimize websites for top search rankings. Additionally, I earned my CompTIA Security+ certification, equipping me to defend against malicious actors in the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape. As I continue to grow, I am excited to embrace new challenges, acquire additional skills, and contribute to any task in front of me.
